The way you can contact us online is changing

BACK TO MAIN INDEX

We are changing the platform we use to enable you to contact us online.

Many of our patients will be familiar with the form we use called 'eConsult' which enables you to contact us with any medical or administrative queries.

We have been closely monitoring this system and discuss it regularly with our Patient Board. The feedback we have received revealed that some found the forms lengthy and, at times, complicated to complete.

We have, therefore, made the decision to change platforms to a system called Accurx from the 1st of June 2023.

This new form will ask you 5 questions for any medical related queries:

  1. Please describe the medical problem
  2. How long have these symptoms or concerns been going on?  Have they got better or worse?
  3. Is there anything you are particularly worried about?
  4. How would you like us to help you?
  5. Please enter any times during opening hours when we cannot contact you (optional)

If you are requesting help with an administrative issue, you will be asked what the query is about and provided with a series of options.  After selecting the option, the system will then ask you for some further details.

As this is a new platform, we will be limiting the number of submissions the Surgery can receive for the first week.  We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.  Whilst we have taken every precaution to ensure the system will work and the change will be as seamless as possible for our patients, we have made the decision to limit the number of submissions initially; so, we can ensure the new platform is fully integrated and confirm it is working effectively.

We really hope patients will benefit from this change and we value any feedback you can offer.
