Measles
The NHS has responded to concerns around the recent measles cases in England.
Some of our patients may recently have received a text or letter to let people know that they may not have received one or both MMR vaccines (Measles, Mumps and Rubella).
- If your Red Book or the NHS App shows you have had two MMR vaccinations then you do not need to take any further action
- If your Red Book or Nhs App do not show that two doses of the MMR vaccine have been received, please contact the Practice and we can arrange the vaccine for you or arrange for you to have one at a community clinic
- If you have had two MMR vaccines but they are not on your record please complete this form [link to admin contact us] with the relevant details and we can update your record.
If you, or your child, has a high temperature and a rash please do not attend the surgery. Instead please telephone us and we will arrange a GP to contact you for further advice. Measles spreads very easily and it is really important that you do not put others at risk.
