Healthwatch GP Project
Healthwatch is a charity that runs in Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. They are a charity where ‘people’s experiences help improve health and care’.
They are currently running a GP initiative project at Healthwatch, which is looking to create an accessible guide for patients to understand the policy changes happening in GP surgeries.
This will also be showcasing examples of positive initiatives that GPs are doing to help their surgeries to become more accessible for their patients from across the city.
They have created a short survey for patients to tell them what they enjoy about their surgery, and what they would like to see improved. This will help Healthwatch to understand what practices are doing well from the patient's perspective. They will also try to link GP initiatives happening around the city that tackle the issues brought up in the survey responses, as examples of best practice.
The survey should only take around 10 minutes, and respondents can enter a prize draw in which three winners will be awarded £20 in shopping vouchers each.
If you need a copy of this survey in a different language, in easy read, or know of someone who would prefer to share their views in a different way, please email contact@healthwatchbristol.co.uk or call 0117 2033594.
