Covid Spring Booster
Who is eligible?
- Adults aged 75 years and over (including adults who turn 75 years old by the 30th of June 2024)
- Residents in care homes for older adults
- Individuals who are immunosuppressed (individuals must meet specific criteria and you will be contacted if you are eligible).
If you are eligible for the Covid-19 Spring Booster we will be in touch in the coming weeks offering you an appointment.
When will I be vaccinated?
- If you are housebound or an older adult in a care home, we will begin these vaccines in the week commencing 15th of April 2024.
- If you are immunosuppressed or aged 75 or over, we will be running a clinic on Saturday the 27th of April and if you are eligible you will be invited in the coming week. We will be staggering invites over a few days. If you do not have a mobile number, call the surgery on 0117 9623406 to make an appointment.
What vaccine will be used?
The Moderna XBB1.5 vaccine will be used throughout this campaign. Alternative vaccines will not be available.
